Warning Date: 5:32 am CDT on July 28, 2015

WarningSum:...Afternoon Heat Index Values Near 105 Degrees Possible Today 
Through Thursday...

Warning Message:Hot conditions are expected to continue across portions of North 
Texas through Thursday. High temperatures will climb into the upper 
90s and up to near 102 degrees while heat index values will near 105 
degrees. 
Here are a few heat safety tips. Take extra precautions if 
you work or spend time outside. When possible...reschedule strenuous 
activities to take place in the early morning or evening hours. Know 
the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear 
light weight and loose fitting clothing when possible and drink 
plenty of water. Never leave children or pets unattended in a 
vehicle. Temperatures inside an enclosed vehicle can reach 20 to 30 
degrees higher than ambient outside conditions.
